In order to register new keys, place the Master into the ignition, turn it until all the Instrument Cluster Lights illuminate (position 2) and count to ten.
Now remove the key and repeat again for the second and third key. You have now all three keys programmed.
Used Keys:
If keys are used, start by taking the key and inserting it into the ignition and removing it, the light will then go solid indicating it's an auto programming mode.
Then insert the first key, once the light begins to blink, wait five seconds for it to program then remove the first key.
Repeat step 2 for the second key.
For the third key, once again repeat step 2 and at the end of the five seconds, the light will go out, indicating that the programming mode has been canceled. When the third key is pulled out, the security light will blink normally as if there is no key in the ignition.
Check Keys:
To check keys, the valet key, when inserted into the ignition, will cause the light to stay on for two seconds and go out. The master key, when inserted into the ignition will cause the light to go out immediately.
