Installation Requirements

This Engine Control Module (ECM/PCM) is a direct replacement, pre-programmed to your VIN, but it requires immobilizer relearn (key programming) after installation.

To complete installation, you will need one of the following:

  • An automotive locksmith
  • A key programming tool or advanced scan tool (capable of performing immobilizer/key relearn)

In many cases, you will also need to perform a crankshaft variation relearn to clear codes such as P0315 / P1336. This procedure also requires a capable scan tool.

  • VIN required – Provide your 17-digit VIN at checkout or by message so we can program the ECM.
  • Know before you buy – You will need access to key programming equipment or a professional locksmith.
